Mark D. Wideman of New Philadelphia became part of the full-time professional staff at Dover, New Philadelphia and Strasburg in July 2002.
A licensed funeral director and embalmer, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having served as Director of Funeral Service Operations for the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia where he had worked for over ten years.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio University and graduated Cum Laude from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with an Associate of Applied Science degree. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1983.
Mark married the former Elizabeth Rose of Athens. The couple has resided in New Philadelphia since 1992. He is an active member of the Sacred Heart Church in New Phila along with a number of civic and professional organizations.
