King Named to National Foundation of Mortuary Care

Lars E. King has been named to membership in the National Foundation of Mortuary Care.
The foundation is a non-profit, mass fatality education and response organization which assits civil authorities with mortuary services such as recovery, identification and preparation of victims for disposition as desired by the next of kin.
The group also is responsible for the recruitment and training of disaster response volunteers for mass fatality incidents, coordinating educational programs and providing funds for death-related disater relief services.
King, through the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, also is a member of the state disaster response team. His experience with mass fatality care dates back to his service in the Army during the Vietnam War when he served in graves registration at the Da Nang Mortuary. |
