Delcoma Featured Speaker
June, 1999
 John Delcoma, Director of Pre-Planning, was the featured speaker at the annual community Baccalaureate church service for graduating seniors from Strasburg High School. This years service was held at Strasburg's First Lutheran Church, which Delcoma serves as president of church council. The 1986 graduate of Strasburg High was chosen to speak by pastor Fred W. Grosse, who's church hosted the service. John was selected, "...because we wanted a speaker who was a graduate of Strasburg High School, was successful and a role model in the community, and was a little younger to be able to better relate with the students," said Grosse. Delcoma's message was about "choices" and how the choices made over the graduate's next few years will be some of the most important decisions they will ever make. |
