Herzig Attends Golden Rule Seminar

 John R. Herzig, President of Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes at Dover and Strasburg, has recently completed a two-day Educational Seminar sponsored by the International Order of the Golden Rule, the largest professional association of independently owned funeral homes in the world. The organization was founded in Springfield, Illinois in 1928. Held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA from August 1-3, the Seminar focussed on developing new skills for maximum efficiency in office management and business practices. It featured seven educational sessions - all with accredited continuing education units - led by renowned experts in the field.
Golden Rule Funeral Homes are a select group of independent Funeral Directors. In order to ensure that the organization maintains its standards of excellence, funeral homes that wish to join must first pass through a rigorous application process. Members, like Toland-Herzig - which is celebrating it's 70th anniversary this year, must demonstrate and maintain only the highest standards of service, integrity, care and compassion. |
