NFDA Education Committee Adds Trimmer

 Dennis Trimmer, Jr. CFSP, of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes of Dover and Strasburg has been selected to be a member of the National Funeral Directors Association Education Committee.
The Education Committee is responsible for recommending seminars, workshops and speakers for NFDA educational programming in conjunction with the NFDA Educational Foundation. The committee also monitors and implements strategic action plans for NFDA's education programming.
''We are very pleased to have a funeral director the caliber of Dennis Trimmer helping us determine the educational direction for the national association,'' said Connie Smith, NFDA Director of Education. ''We seek out those members who demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication to their profession to serve on our committees.
Trimmer was nominated for committee membership during the 2000 NFDA Leadership Conference at Vail, Colorado and was voted in at NFDA's National Convention held last month in Baltimore, Maryland.
