Wideman Added to Professional Staff

 Mark D. Wideman of New Philadelphia has been added to the full-time professional staff at Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes of Dover, New Philadelphia and Strasburg.
A licensed funeral director and embalmer, Wideman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having served as Director of Funeral Service Operations for the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia where he had worked for over ten years.
Wideman earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with an Associate of Applied Science degree. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1983.
Mark married the former Elizabeth Rose of Athens. The couple has resided in New Philadelphia since 1992. He is a member of the Sacred Heart Church in New Phila. along with other community and professional organizations.
