For the second time in three years, Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes of Dover, New Philadelphia and Strasburg has been named among Funeral Wire’s “Top 50 Funeral Home Evolutionaries.” Toland-Herzig was one of only two Ohio firms honored.
The designation recognizes funeral homes from across North America for their leading-edge use of the Internet and computer technology to develop, market and conduct business online. Funeral Wire operates funeralwire.com, a Web site dedicated to funeral service news and issues.
The 2004 “Top 50” list represents a cross-section of businesses selected from more than 28,000 North American funeral homes. The firms were chosen based on how technology has benefited their funeral home, and plans for future implementations.
