Stevenson leads Toland-Herzig care, crematory for pets

NEW PHILADELPHIA, OH — Steve Stevenson of New Philadelphia recently joined the staff of Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes & Crematory.
In addition to assisting with funerals, memorial services and visitations, he has taken charge of Toland-Herzig’s “My Friend” Pet Care Service and Pet Crematory.
He will be responsible for contact with area veterinary offices, family satisfaction and pet crematory operations. He was one the first in Ohio to earn the distinction of certified crematory operator by the Cremation Assn. of North America and will be re-certified this year. He has 11 years of funeral home and crematory experience.
Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes & Crematory has locations at Dover, New Philadelphia and Strasburg and has been in operation since 1929.
