Gaven J. Carlisle, age 22, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, March 5, 2021, the result of a tragic and senseless act of violence.
Born January 21, 1999, he was a son of Jessica (Troy Hamilton) Heid Fuller of Port Washington and Jeff (Nicole) Carlisle of New Philadelphia. Gaven graduated from Dover High School in 2017, and was employed by McDonald’s, Maggoo’s Pizza, Pasta & More, and Sumo Hibachi Japanese Restaurant, all of New Philadelphia.
He was a caring compassionate young man who would gladly lend a hand to anyone that needed it. Gaven had an infectious sense of humor and smile, and his personality could light up a room. Foremost, he cherished his role as loving father to his young daughter, Calleigh Carlisle. Gaven enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, four-wheeling and playing video games.
In addition to his mother and father, and his daughter, Gaven will be dearly missed by his siblings, Chase, Brendan, Morgan, Lucas and Reagan Carlisle, and Darron Hamilton; Calleigh’s mother, Madison Bolon; his grandparents, Robert and Donna Beller, James Heid and Loren Stout; his great-grandparents, Robert and Betty Andreas, Linda Ott and Dolly Heid; and his aunts uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn Stout, Paul Heid and Thomas Carlisle; his great-grandfather, Ralph Ott; his cousin, Ariel Stout; and his best friend, Luke Cabbage.
