Ada ''Maxine'' Leehan, 69, of Dover died Sunday, July 9, 2000 at the Hennis Care Centre following an extended illness.
She retired from Central Fuel in New Philadelphia after ten years of service.
Born May 23, 1931 in Elkins, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Robert and Josie Elza White.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed viewing wildlife.
Maxine is survived by her husband John C. Leehan with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage on April 2, 2000.
She is also survived by two sons: John W. Leehan

Sister: Louise and Howard Smock of Albion, Pa.
Half brother: Jerry Long of Newark, Ohio
Three half sisters: Shirley and Leo Bruno of Erie, Pa.

Granddaughter: Jacklyn Leehan of Louisville, Ohio
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at 10:00 am at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
