Agnes Marie Case

Agnes Marie Case, 83, of Uhrichsville, died on November 23, 2009 at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia following an extended illness.

Born on May 22, 1926 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late George and Susie Price Solley. She married the love of her life, Paul E. Case, on November 1, 1942. Paul preceded her in death on September 12, 1986. For many years she worked at Dover Molded Products until she moved to California. She also volunteered in the YMCA preschool, where she received the presidential award. She enjoyed line dancing and crocheting. She also loved to feed the birds in her backyard and taking trips with her granddaughter, Tammy. Her family was very important to her.

She will be missed by her three children; Richard E. Case of New Philadelphia, Michael and his companion Winnie Bieber of Bothel, Washington, Penny (husband, Chet) Peoples of Uhrichsville; her step-daughter, Darla Garris of Bullhead Arizona; two sisters, Estella McClintock of Camarillo, California, and June (husband, Jim) Yenni of Nova, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Tammy (husband, Bob) Bowling of Uhrichsville, Paula (husband, Jimmy) Reynolds of Uhrichsville, Shelley (husband, Adrian) Alvarez, Shawn Haught, Rocky (wife, Deb) Case all of Newcomerstown, Tim (wife Mary) Case of New Philadelphia, Heather (Husband, Dave) Guthrie of Cape Canaveral , Florida, as well as several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marie is preceded in death by her granddaughter; Patty Halchuck; her brother, Bob Solley; her sister, Vicki Reed; two half-sisters, Ethel Grinder and Elsie Wallace; her half brothers, Dewey Solley, Russell Pope, and Lee Solley; and her brother in-law, Mac McClintock.

A graveside service will take place at Dover Burial Park on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am with Raymond Ulrich officiating. A meal will follow at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center, 831 Boulevard, in Dover. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover are handling the arrangements.
