Agnes Monaco
78, passed away on May 7, 2013. A daughter of the late Agnes (Moliske) and Andrew Yosick Sr. She was born in Union Hospital on June 4, 1934.
She was an employee of Woolworth Dept. Store, a poll worker for many years and cleaned houses for 15 elderly families for over 20 years. Her favorite hobby was making calligraphy picture post cards from dried flowers from her family's flower garden. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Christian Mothers, St. Theresa Study Club and St. Joseph's Senior Group and Crafty Ladies Group.
She is survived her by loving husband, John (Jay) Monaco of 62 years. She had six loving children, John (Janna) of Vancouver, Wash., Tony of Newport Beach, Calif., Joe (Gwen) of Oxford, Ga., Connie (Bret) Moore of Canton, Ohio, Michael (Diana) Monaco of Temecula, Calif. and Therese (Al) Baker of Atwood Lake; grandchildren, Jason Monaco of New Philadelphia, Jessica (Scott) Cervinak of Canton, Joseph Monaco of Georgia, Justin Crues of Canton, Joel and Jesse Baker of Atwood, Vincent Monaco of California; great-grandchildren, Keely, Jordan, Tori, and Dominic Monaco, Matthew, Ryan, and Nathan Cervinak of Canton; stepchildren, Zachary Meyers, Casey Carr and Emily Charleston of Washington, Brandon and Blake Moore of Canton; sisters, Mary Ann Neff of Dover, Barb and Jerry Campo of New Philadelphia, Monica Zmuda of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, Tom (Karen) Yosick of Dover, Andy (Linda) Yosick of North Carolina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:30 am with Father Matt Hoover Officiating. In honoring her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 613 N. Tuscarawas Ave, Dover, Ohio 44622.
