Albert F. Recchiuti, 83, of Dover died Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.
He retired as Vice President of Sales from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. in New Philadelphia after 30 years of service.
Born December 18, 1921 in Dennison he was a son of the late Domenico and Mary DeMattis Recchiuti.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover VFW and was an Air Force Veteran of WW II and the Korean War. Albert was a very caring man, who dearly loved his family, especially his two grandsons.
He is survived by his wife Jane Harder Recchiuti with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage on June 19, 2005.
Albert is also survived by two sons, Jeff (Toni) Recchiuti of Dublin and Greg Recchiuti of Lynchburg, Virginia; brother, William (Delores) Recchiuti of California; two grandsons, Matthew and Michael Recchiuti.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and William Recchiuti.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday (today) from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Christian Wake services will begin at 8:45 pm.
