Allen G. Muster, 64, of Mineral City passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at his home. Born in Dover on September 1, 1956, he was the son of Eugene F. and Lois I. (Wyatt) Muster.
He graduated from Indian Valley High High School with the class of 1974. He later graduated from Ohio State University and also Kent State University. Allen worked for the Timken Steel Company for over 35 years. He was planning on retiring this coming September.
He is survived by his parents, and wife, Debra (Strawderman) whom he married on April 18, 1992. He also leaves behind his sons; William F. Muster of New Zoarville, and Thomas W. Muster of New Zoarville; sister Carol (Jeff) Rubis of Gnadenhutten, and Susanne Snyder of Huntsville, Alabama; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Allen was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Bertice (Long)Wyatt, and Paternal grandparents, Gottfried and Louisa Schweingruber- Muster; his maternal Aunt, Carol Ann Wyatt along with his Aunt and Uncle Walter and Sara Louise Mathey- Muster, Fay and Martha Muster-Murray, and Robert and Edith Muster-McDonald.
He was an avid Ohio State football fan and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and playing the game of Risk. He was also an Eagle Scout and a certified EMT. Allen was a lifelong member of the First Christian church in Uhrichsville.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4-7pm. A private service will take place. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing will take place and masks will need to be worn during visitation.
