Alma E. Rader, 74, of Dover died Friday, February 11, 2005 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
Born June 15, 1930 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Edwin C. and Isa Swinehart Menges, Sr.
She was a member of First Assembly of God in New Philadelphia. Alma enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and spending time with her grandchildren.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Rader who died on April 25, 1989.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Rader of New Philadelphia, Roberta (Terry) Haney of Dover and Shirley (Kenneth) Brown of Dover; three sons, Charles E. Rader and his companion Esther Page of Uhrichsville, Jerry Rader of Dover and Ronald Rader of Dover; brother, Edwin (Naomi) Menges Jr. of Strasburg; sister, Alice (David) Hershberger of Dundee; five grandchildren, Heather Rader, Mike (Alicia) Haney, Josh Rader, Nicole (Ian) Shafer and Ashley Rader; five great grandchildren, Kristin and Alexander Haney, Allen Riechers, Aaron and Nicholas Shafer.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Rader; granddaughter, Holly Rader and a sister, Ruby Lautzenheiser.
A celebration of Alma�(TM)s life will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Larry Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
