Alma L. Casebeer, 85, of Dover, died peacefully Monday morning, November 28, 2005 in the Hennis Care Centre, Dover.
Born November 27, 1920 at New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Irene Kuhn Mathias.
She retired from East Sparta Ceramic Tile where she had worked for 16 years.
Alma was a member of the Jerusalem Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed bowling and for several years bowled for East Sparta Ceramic Tile in industrial bowling leagues.
Survivors include: two sons, Ron & Clinton; daughter, Doris; a brother, Paul “Shorty” (Jean) Mathias of New Philadelphia; two sisters, Rose Beitzel of New Philadelphia and Della (Paul) Flickinger of Dover; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by two brothers.
Her life will be celebrated in a ceremony held Wednesday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. The Rev. Glen Shedlock will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stone Creek Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday one-hour prior to services.
