Alma M. Loibl, 93, a lifelong resident of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in the Park Village Health Care Center following a period of declining health.
Alma was a homemaker and years ago worked at the former Sadiron in Dover.
Born October 15, 1917 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Warther) Feutz.
Alma was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover and the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Alma never drove a car but loved Nascar and was a fan of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. and then Dale Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Loibl who died February 26, 1985 along with two grandsons and three sisters, Clara Rees, Edna Boltz, and Anna Feutz.
She will be sadly missed by her seven children, Andrew (Judy) Loibl of Dover, John (Jeanette) Loibl of Dover, Dan (Linda) Loibl of Dover, Sam (Patricia) Loibl of New Philadelphia, Ann (Fred) Pope of Dundee, David Loibl of Apex, North Carolina and James Loibl of Dover. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover with Fr. Matt Hoover officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, John in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends will be received Friday from 5-8pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover where Christian Wake services will be held at 7:45pm.
