Alta Marie Kinser

Alta Marie Kinser, 92, of New Philadelphia died Friday, December 14, 2007 at Union Hospital.

Born October 13, 1915 in Winfield she was a daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Widder Pershing.

Alta was a wonderful homemaker and she had also worked for 20 years at Dover Molded Products.

She was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover and was a life member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary. Alta had a very uplifting spirit who was always there for her loved ones, and she enjoyed nothing more than taking care of her family. She also had a great love for animals especially her cats.

A wonderful mother and grandmother, Alta will be sadly missed by her son, Donald Kinser of Dover; daughters, Sherry Marie (Chad Hammondstrom) Goodall and Shirley Ann (David Ball) Massarelli both of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Lori Zontini, Kimberly Walton, Ryan Goodall, Matt Goodall, Melissa Jeffery and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and her former husband, Don H. Kinser.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Michael Lowry officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Following the burial a luncheon will be held in the Red Onion Party Center where everyone is welcome.
