Andrew Eaton

Andrew Eaton, 36, of Dover passed away on June 29, 2024. Andrew passed away suddenly at home following a brief illness. 

He was born on July 1, 1987, in Coshocton Ohio. He was the beloved son of David (Karen) Eaton of Coshocton and Tracey (Guthrie) and Brian Christmas of Newcomerstown, Ohio. 

 Andrew graduated from Indian Valley with the class of 2006. He worked in the automotive department at Walmart in New Philadelphia. 

Throughout his life, Andrew cultivated a deep love for various interests. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and took immense joy in following their games. Additionally, he had a passion for fireworks and video games, finding solace and excitement in these hobbies.

On July 3, 2018, he married Zerika Penick. Among his proudest accomplishments were his three daughters; Makenna (5), Madelyn (3), and Mikayla (4 months), whom he loved dearly and who brought him immense pride. 

In addition to Zerika, his three girls, and his parents; he leaves behind his brothers, Robert Eaton of Newcomerstown, and Jesse (Mandy) Christmas of New Philadelphia, and his close friend, who was like a brother, Zack (Miranda) Bates of Port Washington; his mother and father-in-law, Norman and Tracy Penick of Dover; his sister-in-law, Ashley (John) Snyder of Dover; brother-in-law, Tyler (Rachael) Penick of Dover; his grandmother-in-law, Clarence and Nancy Penick of New Philadelphia; his uncles, Brian (Kathy) Guthrie of Newcomerstown, and Greg Eaton of Coshocton; along with several nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 p.m.. Following the visitation, Pastor Roger Warnes will officiate a service at 12:00 p.m. Following the service, a reception will be held at his mother’s home.
