Angela M. Weaver

Angela M. Weaver, 88, of 424 E. Slingluff Ave., Dover, Ohio died Friday, March 29, 2002 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.

Born February 26, 1914 in Newcomerstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Teresa Sparar Pongratz.

She was a member of the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church in Dover and its Christian Mothers and CCL. She was also formerly a den mother for a Boy Scout Troop and was active in the Jaycee Women. Her family, friends, cooking, gardening, and sewing were her priorities.

Angela is survived by her husband James R. Weaver with whom she would have celebrated 61 years of marriage on October 18.

She is also survived by her daughter, Judy Lynn (Randal) Busick of Milford, Michigan and her son, Richard “Skip” (Priscilla) Weaver of Terre Haute, Indiana.

One brother Rudy Carl Pongratz of Akron and a sister in law, Wanda (Edward) Pongratz of Dover.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 1 pm in the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church in Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Tuesday (today) from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Christian Wake service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
