Angeline C. Amistadi

Angeline C. Amistadi, 81, of Dover passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 at her home.

She had retired from Reeves Steel and Mfg. Co. in Dover.

Born July 22, 1928 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Caterina Princiotta DiGiorgio. She was also preceded in death by a son, Adam Amistadi Jr.; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Sanders; sisters, Josephine and Catherine DiGiorgio; brothers, Salvatore and Ross DiGiorgio; special sisters and brothers in law, Kay DiGiorgio, Joseph Cocca and Mary and Carl W. Stocker.

Angeline was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing and taught line dancing at the Senior Center. She was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and homemaker who always gave from the heart.

Angeline is survived by her husband of 51 years, Adam Amistadi, whom she married on June 7, 1958. She is also survived by her three children, Rose Ann Amistadi, Joseph Amistadi and Catherine (husband, Doug) Sanders all of Dover; grandchildren, Angela, Jacqueline and Robert Sanders all of Dover; sister Mary Cocca of Dayton; brother, Anthony DiGiorgio of Miamisburg; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 1:30 pm in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. Matt Hoover officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Dover. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Tuesday (today) from 6-8 pm, with Christian Wake services starting at 8:00 pm.
