Anita R. Brown

Anita R. Brown, 80, of Uhrichsville passed away at her home on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

She was born on December 19, 1941 in Youngstown to the late Maurice and Audrey Finnie West. Anita was also preceded in death by her son, Maurice Roy Hoot. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Brown whom she married on January 16, 2012; children, Lisa (Dale) Slagle, Kimberly Wolford both of East Sparta, Chris (Stephanie) Hoot of Canton; step daughters, Jennifer (Brian Ross) Brown of Uhrichsville, Elise (Matt) Sickle of Dover and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anita held numerous jobs throughout her working career including employment at Doctor’s Hospital, Massillon and Mercy Medical Center at Canton. She loved singing Karaoke, crocheting, reading Mary Higgins Clark novels and going to flea markets.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
