Ann McDougal Klingaman

On Oct. 7, 2011, Ann Klingaman left this earth to reunite with family and friends in heaven.

Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, she married her best friend, Marv on Oct. 26, 1947. Together they had built a life in Louisville and Dover, Ohio and raised their family. Her son, Russ preceded her in death along with her sister and three brothers.

Ann loved her life in Ohio and volunteered at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, Meals On Wheels program, and the American Cancer Society. She believed in giving back to the community where she lived. Marvin�(TM)s Barbershop Chorus shows and concerts in Tuscora Park gave her great joy. Her sudden departure leaves an empty spot in many hearts and lives.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; her daughter Diane (husband, Thomas) Klingaman O�(TM)Neill of Flushing, New York; son, Alan (wife Carol) Klingaman of New Port Richey, Florida and daughter, Kris (husband, Antonio) Klingaman Carrelli of Zionsville, Indiana; five grandchildren Brian O�(TM)Neill, Erik Klingaman, Jennifer Holcomb, Cory Holcomb, and Alex Klingaman along with four great grandchildren, Marc and Joseph O�(TM)Neill and Max and Miles Klingaman; a brother, James McDougal of Louisville, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rev. Sam Buehrer will officiate Ann�(TM)s service on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 8pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. Cremation will follow the service and she will be laid to rest at a later date in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8pm.
