Anna M. Gerber Kaiser

Anna M. Gerber Kaiser, 82, of Dover went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born March 4, 1932 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Bartholemew Gerber. Anna was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Bill and Herman Gerber.

Anna graduated from Dover High School and Kent State University. Following her education she realized her childhood dream of becoming a teacher. Her love for all of her students was evident while teaching at Baltic, Strasburg, Myers and finally retiring from Tuslaw Elementary. She had a passion for music having played the violin and organ. She played in the high school Theater Orchestra and loved to sing soprano, "just for fun". Anna was also a long time member of Ruslin Hills Church.

She took great pride in her family and friends and is survived by her sister, Norma Jean (Paul) Dear of Missouri; sisters in law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Duane Houser officiating. Interment will be in the Ruslin Hills Cemetery. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
