Anna Mae Lahm

Anna Mae Lahm, age 92, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in New Dawn Retirement Community, Dover, following a brief illness.

Born September 19, 1923, at New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Edna Humerickhouse Johnson. Anna Mae graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1941, and was later employed by Dr. Henry Deetz at Dover, and the Loyal Order of Moose at New Philadelphia. She married the love of her life, Otto A. Lahm, in 1956; the couple shared just 18 years of marriage prior to Otto's passing in 1974.

Anna Mae was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Loyal Order of Moose, both at New Philadelphia. She was kind, unassuming and dutiful caring for those who were ill or otherwise in need.

Anna Mae is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and her beloved Otto, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Johnson and Effie Zaychek, and her brothers, Eugene E., L. Virgil, George W. and Francis F. Johnson.
