Anna May Moore Vandevort

Anna May Moore Vandevort, 78, of Country Club Retirement Campus, Dover, and a
longtime resident of Dogwood St. S.E., New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Mar. 14,
2006, at Country Club.

Born Jun. 13, 1927, in Navarre, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Grace
Senften Walter. Anna retired in 1986 as a processor for Alsco Anaconda in
Sugarcreek. Prior to Alsco, she was employed by the former Belmont Stamp &
Enameling Co. in New Philadelphia. Anna was a loving wife, mother grandmother
and great-grandmother, who enjoyed cooking, needlework, growing flowers and
traveling. She attended the First Assembly of God in New Philadelphia.

Survivors include three daughters, Carol Sue (Robert Jr.) Haney of New
Philadelphia, Jo Ann (John) Fesler of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Betty (Frank)
Roth of Dover; five grandchildren, Holly (Scott) Wright, Lisa (Carl) Lanzer,
Tom (Jenn) Haney, Tiffani (Alan) Bloniarz and Tim (Kellie) Hykes; six
great-grandchildren, C.J. Lanzer, Jacob Hykes, Bryce Haney, Alex Bloniarz,
Dakota Wright and Ethan Hykes; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her first husband,
Thomas Moore in 1980; her second husband, Norman Vandevort in 1998; two
great-grandchildren, Chandler and Madison Wright; and by two
brothers, William and Cecil Walter.

Anna�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a service Friday, Mar. 17, at 11 a.m., in the
Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, 246 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia,
with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in East Avenue
Cemetery, New Philadelphia. Following the committal, there will be a luncheon
in the First Assembly of God. Family and friends are invited to call at the
