Anna E. Troyer, 91, of Navarre, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Mattie (Schlabach) Mullet.
Anna was a talented homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Above all, she enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of the Dover Alliance Church.
Anna married the love of her life, Henry D. Troyer, on November 20, 1952. They celebrated 70 years of marriage. She is also survived by her six children; Marlene (Royce) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Marcia (Rick) Stahn of Navarre, Marla (Todd) Frey of Pennsylvania, Melanie (Kevin) Oswald of Berlin, Marilyn (Alan) Andrews of Bolivia, Michelle (Greg) Harstine of New Philadelphia; along with sixteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Cynthia Troyer; her grandson, Drew Oswald, son in-law, Dale Hostetler; six siblings; Jonas Mullet, Mahlon Mullet, Mary Hershberger, Sarah Troyer, Minerva Troyer, and Clara Barkman, and six step-siblings; Henry, Joas, Ray, and Clarence Yoder, Sara Troyer, and Clara Yoder.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Strasburg, 140 S. Bodmer Ave., Strasburg on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 4-7pm. A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at the Dover Alliance Church on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10:30 am with Pastor Bruce Sexton and her grandson-in-law, Ed Kramer officiating. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served in the church fellowship hall. A private burial will take place at Grandview Union Cemetery.
