Archie A. Croy, Jr.

Archie A. Croy, Jr., 78, of Strasburg, died Saturday, May 18, 2002 in his home.

He was a long-time truck driver whose employment included the former Truck Coal Co.

Born April 8, 1924 at Dover, he was son of the late Archie A. & Jesse Burton Croy, Sr.

Archie was a member of the former St. Aloysius Church at Strasburg and had been a member of the Dover Moose and Teamsters Union Local 92. He also enjoyed playing Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Rohr Croy, who passed away on May 31, 1994.

Survivors include: two daughters; Mrs. Ted (Susan) Mast of Baltic and Sandra “Sandy” Croy of Dover, a son; James A. & Tonja J. Croy of Strasburg, and nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Archie was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9pm with Christian Wake services being held at 8:30pm.
