Arline E. Blaser, 92, of Dover died peacefully in her son's home in Niagara Falls, New York on Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
Arline was born November 8, 1916 in Dover, the daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Troendly) Everhart.
She was a retired librarian at Dover High School.
Arline was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover where she was previously a Sunday Schoolteacher, choir member and member of the handbell choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Russell W. Blaser who died August 25, 2002. She was also preceded by a son, Billy Blaser, her daughter, Mary Ann Dillon, and a sister, Virginia Lebold.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Richard and Marilyn Blaser of Niagara Falls; three grandchildren, David Blaser, Russell Blaser, and Jillian (husband, Phillip) Truesdale all of Niagara Falls and two great grandchildren Julianna and Joseph Blaser.
A funeral service celebrating Arline's life will be held Monday, February 2, 2009 at 1:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Pastor Michael Lowry officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4pm at the funeral home.
