Audrey H. Harmon, 89, of Dover, died Thursday, February 7, 2012 in Park Village Health Care Center.
Born August 25, 1923 at Dover, she was the daughter of the late Carl & Hilda Roth Beitzel.
She fulfilled her role as homemaker to the fullest, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. Everyone loved going to Grandma Harmon's house! She liked collecting antiques and Hummel figurines, and had fun going to auctions as well. Her passion for antiques and love of family was evident as Audrey very much enjoyed helping her daughter-in-law Ann at the antique shop every afternoon.
Her husband of 70 years, Paul T. Harmon, preceded her in death on May 21, 2012.
Surviving family members include: her son, Tom (Cindy) Harmon of Dover; a sister, Ruth Gribben of Dover; four grandchildren, Beth Ann (Joe) Coyle of Southern Shores, NC, Jon T. (Dianna) Harmon of New Philadelphia, Jim (Heather) Harmon of Twinsburg and Joel (Mel) Harmon of Dennison; step-grandchildren, Andrew West of New Philadelphia and Kate (Jeff) Shaffer of North Lawrence; great grandchildren, AJ Harmon, Annie Coyle and Noah Shaffer; along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by: two brothers, Robert & Kenny Beitzel; an infant sister, Shirley; and a daughter-in-law, Ann Harmon.
