Audrey F. Selinsky

Audrey F. Selinsky, 86, of Strasburg passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice Truman House.

Born April 13, 1938 in Dover she was a daughter of the late John and Mamie Chaney Shear. Audrey was also preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Neil Selinsky on January 12, 2018; grandson, Trevor; step son, Michael Selinsky; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Audrey retired as the assistant manager for the Goshen Dairy store in Sugarcreek after many years of devoted service. She was actively involved in her church community as a member of the Believers Assembly Church in Beach City. Her musical talents brought joy to many, as she played the keyboard during church services and contributed her voice to the choir. Additionally, her love for music extended to the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing and sharing her passion with fellow seniors. Audrey was also a member of the Red Hat Society in New Philadelphia. She had an innate love for crafts, especially crocheting and painting, activities that allowed her to express her creativity and share her joy with family and friends.

Audrey leaves behind her loving children: Jerry Rieger of Missouri, Linda (Tony) Callahan of California, Dale (Gina) Rieger of Canton, Debbie (Larry) Troyer of Dover, and Dennis Rieger of Dover. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Sue (Danny) Smith of Florida and Brian (Jackie) Selinsky of Canton, along with her cherished sister, Betty Menapace of Dover; step-daughter-in-law, Beth Selinsky, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Anthony McKinney officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
