Barbara A. Anslow, 62, of New Philadelphia, Ohio died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton following injuries received in an auto accident.
Barbara was an employee of Schoenbrunn Inn in New Philadelphia until her retirement from a disability.
Born July 20, 1945 in Uhrichsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Wright Mann.
Barbara attended the First Brethren Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an animal lover.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Anslow with whom she celebrated forty five years of marriage on May 4; She is also survived by two daughters, Mary Mansfield and companion, Travis Barker and Melinda (Howard) Heck both of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren Richard (RJ), John (JJ), and Charles (CJ) Heck and Diamond and Autumn Mansfield; two brothers, Jacob (Kay) Mann of Barnhill and Kenneth (Linda) Mann of Roswell; three sisters, Mary (Wayne) Short of Dover, Helen Burkhart and companion Mike Whipkey of Dover and Alice (James) Dillow of Clarksburg, West Virginia and a sister in law, Rhonda Mann of Dover along with her canine companions, Susie, Trouble, and Brittany and her feline companion, Mississippi.
Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and Keith Mann.
Pastor Max Canfield will officiate services Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 7pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home in Thursday from 5-7pm.
