Barbara H. Krebs

Barbara H. Krebs, age 91, a long-time resident of Stone Creek, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Country Club Retirement Campus, Dover.

Born December 26, 1929, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaretta Jones Myers. Barbara graduated from Dover High School in 1948, and, on August 28, 1949, married Walter Krebs Jr. The couple shared 49 years of marriage and reared four children prior to Walter’s passing on November 25, 1997. Barbara was a member of Ragersville Zion United Church of Christ. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed doing needlework in her spare time.

Barbara is survived by her children, Dale (Vickie) Krebs of Stone Creek, Rebecca (Lonnie) Fuller of Fresno, Joyce (Dave) Alpeter of Dover, and Jane (Dan) Miller of Baltic; her grandchildren, Kevin and Keith Fuller, Steve (Jessica) and Ryan Alpeter, and Jessica Miller; her five step-grandchildren; her twelve great-grandchildren; her five great-great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Alice Krebs of New Philadelphia; and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Walter, she was preceded in death by eleven siblings.
