Barbara J. Johnson

Barbara J. Johnson, 63, of Dover died Monday, December 1, 2014 in the Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born September 9, 1951 in Dennison she was a daughter of the late John and Leah Thomas Johnson. Barbara is survived by her son, Robert (Tabitha) Given of Dover; sisters, Linda (Tom) Carpenter of Kilgore and Rebecca (Clyde) Pearch of Michigan; brother, John (Renee) Johnson III of Dover and two grandchildren, Jeremy and Shiloh Given of Dover.

Barbara graduated in 1990 from Kent State University with a degree in Nursing. Following her graduation, she spent the majority of her career as an RN with Hospice in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There will be no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Barbara may do so by visiting the on line obituaries and flowers link on the funeral homes website.
