Barbara Kay Page

Barbara Kay Page, 80, of Dover passed away at the Community Hospice Truman House on Saturday, January 1, 2022.

Born in Coshocton on September 12, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Hazel (Lindell) Walker. She is also preceded in death by her daughter; Beth Moore; her granddaughter, Christie Kay Mann; sister, Sandra (Dick) Gatchell; and her brother, Randy (Debbie) Walker.

Barbara was a graduate of Dover High School. She worked as a nurse's aide for several years at Union Hospital and Hennis Care Center in Dover. Barbara was an active member of Dover Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School and played the organ, and sang in the church choir for many years. She was a talented seamstress and loved embroidery, and crocheting. She thoroughly enjoyed sharing her crafts with everyone she knew. Above all, she loved to bake with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Lester Page, whom she married on January 31, 1957; three daughters; Chris White of Canton, Kay (Randy) Shutt of Dover, Kathy Page of Pennsylvania; her son, Terry Page of Dover; brother, Jim Walker; along with nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the Dover Bible Church on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mark Britton officiating. A meal will follow in the church fellowship hall. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes & Crematory in Dover is handling the arrangements.
