Barney L. Burrell

Barney L. Burrell, 52, of Dover, Ohio died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Union Hospital following a sudden illness.

He was a crew leader for the Street Dept. for the City of Dover where he worked for 27 years.

Born December 29, 1950 in Dover, he was the son of Max and Jean Meese Burrell of Dover.

Barney was a 1969 graduate of Dover High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tammy Salisbury Burrell with whom he would have celebrated 28 years of marriage on August 1.

He is also survived by three children; Heather (Dave) Adams of New Philadelphia, Hallie Haglock of Dover and Zach (Valerie) Burrell of Willowick, Ohio; four grandchildren Maddie and Brennen Adams, Jacob Burrell and Derron Rothacher; two sisters Brenda (Larry) Wallick of Dover and Beth (Larry) McClain of New Philadelphia; One brother, Brian (Amy) Burrell of Dover.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 24, 2003 at 8:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Ray Ulrich officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 pm.
