Bernice was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church in Dover, and prayed the Rosary daily. She also belonged to the Loyola Study Club and the Christian Mothers group. Bernice enjoyed a lifelong love of music, playing the organ and piano, as well as giving lessons in her home. She was an avid reader and liked to work word and jigsaw puzzles.
