Bertha E. (Hartline) Gepfert

Bertha E. Hartline Gepfert, 100, of the Sunbridge Nursing Home in Statesboro, Georgia died Tuesday, April 9, 2002. She was a resident of Strasburg before moving to Statesboro over 7 years ago to live with her daughter, Glenna.

She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church at Strasburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Gepfert.

She is survived by her daughter Glenna Ellwood of Statesboro; one son Don (Donna) Gepfert of Columbus, Ohio; Grandchildren Steve (Donna) Ellwood of Atlanta, Ga., Sally Jo Ellwood (Don) McCarty of Augusta, Ga., Bob (Kathleen) Gepfert of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cindy Sue Gepfert (Buzz) Kolbe of Plano, Texas, Debbie Gepfert Showe of Columbus, Ohio; Great grandchildren Jake and Hannah Ellwood, Stephanie McCarty, Collin and Dia Showe and Alex Pomeraning.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Rev. Fred Grosse officiating. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Strasburg Friday from 7-9 pm.
