Bertha M. Lafferty

Bertha M. Lafferty, 89, of Middlefield, Ohio and formerly of Dover died Friday, August 4, 2012 in the Briar Hill Health Care Residence.

Born November 22, 1922 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marie Sehn Walters. Bertha was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lafferty on February 10, 2003; son, David Lafferty and three brothers, Vincent, Gail and Jack Walters.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Bertha is survived by her daughter, Patricia (William) Steiner of Middlefield; sister, Vera Shoemaker of Columbus; grandchildren, David and Lisa Steiner and one great grandson, Dylan Steiner.

Per Bertha's request, cremation will be entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There will be no services or calling hours.
