Bessie I. Leech, 100, of Dover died Friday, March 29, 2002 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
She and her husband owned and operated a farm and meat processing business near Bakersville and Leech�(TM)s Grill at Stone Creek.
Born September 17, 1901 in Evans Creek, Tuscarawas County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ida Mizer Schumacher.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Leech who died on May 22, 1969.
She is survived by a granddaughter: Bonnie Richardson of Dover.
Two great grandchildren: Douglas Jones and his fiancé Patricia Huffman of Dover.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Roberta Isenogle and Marjorie Leech

One brother: Clifford Schumacher
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
