Betty M. Ginnetti

Betty M. Ginnetti, 93, of Dover passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Born on October 13, 1930, in Dover, Betty was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Cercone Conidi. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony P. Ginnetti on March 13, 2019; brother, Joseph "Whiz" Conidi; and two sisters, Nancy and Nunzi Conidi.

A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Betty was deeply rooted in her faith which guided her throughout her life. She took great pleasure in baking for her loved ones and could often be found tending to her flower and vegetable garden, which she nurtured with the same care she bestowed upon her family. Her leisure time was often spent enjoying the simple joys of life, such as people watching from her porch, or watching her favorite game show, Wheel of Fortune.

Betty is survived by her loving family: her daughters Toni (Robert) Dunmire of Loudonville, Tina Ginnetti of Wooster, Patricia (Shawn) Chambers of Dover, Nancy (Kevin) Dalpiaz of Sagamore Hills, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Andrew (Amber) Dunmire, Ann (Kevin) Stitzlein, Kent (Julie) Kendrick, Dominic “Nick” (Alyssa) and Nicole Chambers, and Anthony and Gabriel (Emily) Dalpiaz. Her great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Jarrett Stitzlein, Huck Dunmire, and Gabriella Chambers, will carry forward her legacy of love. Betty is also survived by her sister-in-law, Cherie Conidi of Dover, along with many treasured nieces and nephews who adored her deeply.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 5th starting at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover. The family will be greeting friends on Thursday from 9:45 am to 10:45 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover.
