Betty J. Miller, 82, of New Philadelphia died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at Morning View Care Center following an extended illness.

Born October 18, 1920 in Stone Creek she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Jessie Ellwood DeVore.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Eugene R. “Gene” Miller who died on July 29, 1991.

She is survived by two daughters: Barbara Linard of New Philadelphia
Marilyn “Kay” White of New Philadelphia

Brother: George (Dora Jean) DeVore of Oklahoma

Sister: June (Dale) Farquhar of Zanesville.

Eight grandchildren: Mindy Haffner, Brenda White, Rob Linard,
Kristi Croniser, Stephanie White, Shelley Luellen,
Dawn White and John E. White

Nine great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 11:00 am in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia with Rev. Matthew Roe officiating.
