Betty J. Shutt, 76, of Dover went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at New Dawn Health Care Center following a brief illness.
She and her husband owned and operated Kenny's Boat Haven in Dover, having retired in 1984 after 25 years of service.
Born January 14, 1925 in Canton she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel See Miller.
She was a member of Dover Bible Church, sang in the choir and taught Junior Church and Wednesday Night Youth Group.
Betty is survived by her husband Kenneth D. Shutt with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage on December 23, 2000.
She is survived by a son: Terry and Kathy Shutt of Dover

She was also preceded in death by a sister: Myra Gilnett
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Dover Bible Church with Pastor Ed Scaglione officiating. Interment will be in the Union Hill Cemetery at Sugarcreek. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Monday from 6-8 pm.
