Betty J. White

Betty J. White, 62, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, July 21, 2003 in the Morning View Care Center after a brief illness.

She was a retired employee of the former Puritan Laundry at New Philadelphia where she had worked for over 17 years.

Born December 31, 1940 at New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Frances Hines White.

Betty had attended the New Philadelphia�(TM)s Trinity Episcopal Church.

Survivors include: three brothers; Jerry (Karen) White, Lawrence White, Jr., and Gary White all of New Philadelphia, two sisters; Olivia White and Linda (Dennis) McCahill both of New Philadelphia, three nieces and two nephews; Candy Gopp, Jerry White, Lori McCahill, Belinda Reed and Harold Ray.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by: two brothers; Paul Ray and Donald R. White, a nephew, Casey White and an infant niece, Crystal McCahill.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, at 1:00 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, New Philadelphia. Interment will be in the East Avenue Cemetery in New Phila. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
