Betty Jean Miller

June 21, 1926 — October 31, 2010

Betty Jean Miller, 84, of Dover died peacefully Sunday evening, October 31, 2010 in the Cleveland Clinic lovingly surrounded by her family.

Betty Jean worked with her husband as bookkeeper in the operation of Russell Miller Trucking Company in Dover that they proudly founded in the 1950's.

Betty was born June 21, 1926 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, the daughter of the late George F. and Marie (Wilden) Robinson. Her family and friends will remember her as an excellent cook especially her hamloaf recipe. She always made extra and loved to share her dishes with others. She and her husband, Russell loved to take trips in their 1948 Greyhound converted motor home and would often load family and friends to various locations including trips to Disney World. Over the years, she enjoyed country music and took four trips to Branson to enjoy the country sound. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty will be sadly missed by her family including her daughter and son in law, Marie and Guy Zeigler of Dover; five grandchildren, Jeff (wife, Becky) Zeigler, Jim (wife, Julie) Zeigler, and Jill (husband, Josh) Brandt all of Dover, Joy (husband, Scott) Sharp of Stoutsville, OH, and Kevin (wife, Lauri) Fruchey of Strasburg; her eleven great grandchildren, Jessi, Cale, Jenna, Jordan, Clay, and Hunter Zeigler, Katerina and Kaylee Sharp, and Cameron, Madisyn, and Jackson Brandt along with her many nieces, nephews, and a host of special friends.
