Betty Lorraine Herron, 89, of Dover died Saturday, September 12, 2009 in the New Dawn Health Care Center.
Born in Newcomerstown, on November 18, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Phyllis Haver.
Betty was a member of the Dover Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by; three husbands, Kenneth Wolfe, Otto Zahler, and John Herron; five siblings, Carl Haver, Eugene Haver (WWII), Harry Haver Jr., Robert Haver, and Margaret Steinly; and by her second son, Ron Wolfe, who died in 2001.
She is survived by one brother; Edgar (Miyo) Haver of Fallbrook, CA, three sons, Richard (Josephine) Wolfe of Marietta, Ga, David (Cindy) Wolfe of New Philadelphia and Jim (Sheila) Wolfe of Fulshear, Tx; her daughter in-law, Paula Wolfe of Dover; her brother in-law, Bern Steinly of Akron, Oh; two sisters in-law, Jean Haver of Tiffin, Oh and Marci Haver of Atlanta, Ga; as well as 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children.
Services will be at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover at
1:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2009 with Evangelist Randy Chapman of the Dover Church of Christ officiating. Internment will be in the Gnadenhutten Clay Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 6-8 PM and 12:30-1 PM on Thursday.
