Betty Lucille Dupler, 78, of New Philadelphia died Monday, July 30, 2007 in Canton, Ohio.
Born in Shanesville, Ohio on December 31, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Armburst Rody.
Betty attended grade school in Barrs Mills and graduated from Dover High School in 1948. She worked for the former State Data Center in New Philadelphia.
She had many hobbies, which include, baking, needlepoint, crocheting and crafts. She enjoyed listening to both country and gospel music and had a true love for animals. She was a member of the Dover Alliance Church.
Betty is survived by her two sons, James Dupler and Edward (Dorinda) Dupler both of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Justus Dupler of Wainwright, Tabbitha Dupler of Canton, Jason Dupler of Dawsonville, Georgia; great grandchildren, Jace Dupler of Dover, Christian and Ashley Dupler both of Georgia; and her sister, Mable Summers of Dover.
Her ex-husband Frankie Dupler precedes her in death.
A funeral service will be held at the Toland Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Richard Rose officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Following the service of committal, the family asks for guests to join them for a meal at the Toland Herzig Monarch Center, which is located on the Boulevard in Dover. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 6-8 pm.
