Betty M. Waldick, 86, of 501 S. James St., Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in Union Hospital following a brief illness.
Born October 22, 1919 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Henry John and Edna Morgan Waldick.
Betty was an employee of the former Dover Laundry and former Downtown Restaurant in Dover.
She was a member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and loved spending time at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center. She was a former member of the Dover Moose and Eagles Auxiliaries and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Lyndal (Ed) Davis of Pickerington, Jeff Bott of Strasburg, Mike (Patty) Bott of Dover, Tim Bott of Zoar, Emmy (Dave) Morgan of Clinton, Jane Simmers of New Philadelphia, Bob (Eileen) Waldick of Texas and Connie (Dale) Masin of Tipp City. She is also survived by her brother in law, Bill Bott of Reynoldsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Bradford Bowers three sisters, Edna Bucher, Wilma Zuchegno, and Martha Bott and a brother, Herman (Bo) Waldick.
A graveside service honoring Betty will be held Monday, April 3, 2006 at 12:30 pm in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Dover with Pastor Jim Borton officiating. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday from 11am to Noon.
