Beverly J. Neiger

Beverly J. Neiger, 85, of Tuscarawas passed away in the Community Hospice Truman House, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 following a period of declining health.

Born on February 17, 1936 in Cleveland she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Eleanor Albrecht Stevens. Bev was also preceded in death by her son, Robert N. Owens.

She was active with Friends of the Library in Tuscarawas; and exercising at the YMCA, followed by a nice breakfast with her friends. In her spare time, Bev enjoyed antique shopping, sewing, baking, crafting and working in her garden. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Bev is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Wendy) Owens of Cambridge, Beth (Matt) Dennison of New Philadelphia; sister, Patricia McIntire of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Matthew (Mikayla) Owens, Jennifer (Sean) O’Brien, Andrew Owens, Allison (Seth) Dodson, Hannah Dennison, Abigail Dennison; great grandchildren, Ava, Matthew, Elliana, Capri, Joseph, Beau, Isabelle; nieces, Kimberly and Amy.

Private graveside services will be held at the Dover Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice at 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
