Bilinda J. Opphile

Bilinda J. Opphile, 49, of New Philadelphia died Friday, October 20, 2006 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born June 28, 1957 in Canton she was a daughter of James and Shirley Marsh Wise Sr. of Canton.

She was employed at the Timken Co. in Canton for over 9 years in the Bearing Department.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and was a 1974 graduate of Lincoln High School in Canton. Bilinda was a hard working, dedicated and loving wife and mother who enjoyed being with her family and in her free time riding her motorcycle.

In addition to her parents, she will also be loved and greatly missed by her husband, Kevin Opphile with whom she celebrated two years of marriage on June 30, 2006; two daughters, Beth Judy of Cleveland and Brenna Judy of Kent; brother, James (Patricia) Wise II of Canton; maternal grandmother, Norma J. Marsh of Massillon; and three nephews, JR, Chris Mike and Jacob Wise.

She was also preceded in death by a foster brother, Michael S. Jack.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. G. Marlene Peterson officiating. Interment will be in the West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
